We have a fun group of a couple dozen people who come to most of our events – some even larger! We’d love to have you join us to learn more about gardening with irises, and to make new friends.

The sale lasts from 10am to 2pm, but we often sell out sooner. Come early to get the best and most beautiful irises for your home garden.

March 21st, 7 pm, BGIS Club Meeting & Program
“What’s the Score?” We’re having a very special club meeting and program that will give you some insight into how our accredited AIS judges score your lovely irises on the show bench. Also hear about some new categories of entries – the Single Blossom Entry and the Container-Grown Iris and how best to plan ahead to show them yourself! April 18th, 7 pm, BGIS Club Special Program - Staging & Grooming Irises for an Iris Show
Join us to learn tips and tricks on getting your irises groomed and ready to complete for ribbons and awards at our club’s iris show. This program will be a practical demonstration of grooming techniques to get you the most points and blue ribbons!
May 11th, Lexington Green Mall - BGIS Iris Show
Bring your flowers and tell your friends! Don’t miss our annual iris show this year.
BGIS Summer Series - Garden Tours & Club Programs
Starting in May, we’ll have information about club garden tours and we also plan to have some special outdoor programs at various club members’ gardens throughout the summer.
